My professional interests lie in the political history of the American Revolution and Early Republic; in particular, the history of extra-governmental political organization, and the ways in which ordinary citizens mobilized to influence and constrain the actions of government. More broadly, I am a politics, sports, and statistics geek, and anything that allows me to combine two or more of the above generally makes me happy.
